I remember/imagine Lake Swanzey in Swanzey, NH. It is a small beautiful lake surrounded by forest-covered hills that reflect in the water. I am sometimes below the water with mask and fins, sometimes on the beach all alone, sometimes lying on my back in an aimlessly-drifting canoe. I concentrate on the trees overhead or reflected as a way of blocking out my racing intrusive throughts.
